Going the distance

Submissions for the Hero of the Industry are now being accepted by the PTAO. The purpose of this award is to recognize those in the towing industry who go above and beyond the call of duty.

All submissions received will be reviewed by the Hero Of the Industry Selection Committee. Those selected for the award will be notified in advance. Awards will be presented during the Awards Banquet at the Annual Provincial Tow Show. Award recipients will receive two tickets to the Awards Banquet.

Criteria:

  1. Must work in the tow industry in Ontario.
  2. Must have, through an unselfish act, gone out of their way to:
    • Rescue a person
    • Assist a person in a stressful or precarious situation
    • Show their commitment to improving and supporting the community they live in
  3. Must agree to allow his/her photo and bio to be used for promotional purposes by the PTAO.
  4. Deadline for Nominations must be received by June 1st of each year.
